Job description for Markers

You will be responsible for checking the answer sheets of students who write DIPIFR (Diploma in IFRS) course tests and mock exams. Job task specifics

It’s a part time job and will be given on take-home assignment basis.

Points to remember:

It is important that you solve the question yourself before marking as this would help you understand the different approaches applied by the students in solving the questions.

There may be different methods of solving a particular question. The model answer serves as a guide but should not be treated as a sacrosanct document. You should be able to use your judgement in awarding the marks.

Sometimes you may feel that a student deserves more marks than are recommended by the marking scheme. In such a case you may give upto one mark extra. However, ensure that the total marks awarded do not exceed the total marks for the question.
