About Us

GTG is passionate about making quality finance training accessible to all throughout the globe. We decided that the most practical way we can reach out to our audience is by producing study materials for the student that is second to none. We are also supporting the thousands of ACCA tuition providers already out there and help raise their teaching standards and consistency – look for providers using GTG materials. To this end we have produced a range of integrated ACCA study & teaching products. We plan to further expand our range to make sure that the students are the ultimate winners.

Founders

Vandana Saxena Poria

Vandana played a major role in the expansion of ACCA in Europe. As CEO of BPP International, Vandana set up and ran BPP’s international training centres. She successfully built an ACCA market in countries where ACCA was previously not even known. In countries where ACCA was already being taught, she managed to capture the majority of ACCA training market by providing unrivalled quality. BPP International is now one of BPP’s most successful divisions. Vandana was also a very successful tutor and consistently achieved top student ratings. Prior to BPP, Vandana worked for EY and HW Fisher. Accountancy education is Vandana’s passion.

Vandana also works closely with the British Government to foster international trade for the UK and has given numerous presentations for/to UKTI. She has held several positions with British Chambers of Commerce in several countries including Chairperson.

Dipak Poria

Dipak has been working in corporate finance and investment banking/management for over 15 years. Before GTG, he was a Director at an international hedge fund for 5 years. Prior to that, Dipak worked in the City of London for over 12 years, working for various investment banks and houses including Bank of America, LGIM, Colonial Mutual, Kuwaiti Investment Bank.

Team GTG does not simply comprise of our dedicated staff but of an army of vested interests all keen to promote the systematic development of low-cost, high-quality professional materials that can be accessed by students across the globe.

Staff

We employ an international team of highly qualified professionals dedicated to the production of ACCA materials and products. Our staff comprise of accountants, researchers, tutors, authors, academics, people in business, learning and education experts, linguists, graphic artists and IT professionals.

Students

We have taken the input of thousands of ACCA students of all levels into our materials. We have a research and development facility where we try out techniques and materials on students in both class-room and home-study environments.
